Day 1

Pick from Airport to come to Georgetown.  Check into your hotel. After settling into your rooms allow our trained staff to take you on a City Tour of Georgetown. There, view the numerous heritage sites within this “Garden City”, which includes such locations as the Botanical Gardens, Castellani House and the Parliament Building.

Day 2

After breakfast you will be transferred to Ogle International Airport for a schedule flight to Karanambu Ranch, where you will be greeted and shown to your accommodation.  After lunch is served, take some time to familiarize yourself with the surroundings.  In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Simoni Lakes, a robust fishing area and Crane Ponds, unique for its Bird watching.  Boating through the flooded forest offers unparalleled opportunities to observe the unique ecosystem.

Day 3

Have a breakfast bird watching excursion.  After breakfast enjoy a leisurely trip to the Rupununi River just observing the local bio-diversity and an opportunity to spot the Giant River Otter.  Later in the day, walk through the forest trails with your guide.  An evening walk along the airstrip offers seven species of nightjar and among the grasslands the double-striped Thick-knees.  An evening boat ride will offer an opportunity to spot Black Caiman and other Nocturnal Life.

Day 4

Travel by boat along the Rupununi River to Genip Landing then proceed to the canopy walkway. This new state of the art facility that winds through the treetops, offers magnificent view over the forest canopy ideal for bird watching and wildlife spotting, it is about 154 meters long and 30 meters in height. After lunch at Atta Lodge transfer by land to Rock View Lodge. During your stay explore the savannahs, mountains, rainforest, rivers and a family atmosphere with excellent ranch regional cuisine surrounds you. Overnight at Rockview Lodge.  B-L- D.

 Day 5

After breakfast explore the Panorama Nature Trail. There the North Rupununi. Populated with Guyana’s most precious natural resources, Panorama Nature Trail caters for your naturalistic taste. After an early lunch prepare to depart Annai by air for your trip to  Georgetown.

 Day 6

Today you will depart Guyana in the morning for your transfer to Suriname by air from Ogle International Airport.  Arrive at the Courtyard Marriot and settle into your comfortable surroundings.

 Day 7

Commewijine Plantations Boat Trip – Across the Suriname River at the right river bank lays the District of Commewijine.  Commewijine has a rich Dutch History and our guide will take you to several old plantations and tell the great stories behind each of them.  Starting at 9 hrs in the morning we will drive with a coaster or mini bus to Leonsberg.  From there we will take a traditional Javenese Boat across to the Museum Fort Nieuw Amsterdam.  Here we will visit the old penitentiary, Powderhouse and other remains of the fort.  From Nieuw Amsterdam, back on the boat this time we will go into the Commewijine river.  We visit Rust & Werk former coffee plantation, we pass Marienburg former sugar plantation.  Lunch at Frederiksdorp, old coffee and cocoa plantation.  (Included: snacks, drinks  non-alcoholic, lunch, guide & transportation.)  At the end of the day you can choose to relax and go Dolphins-spotting.Leaving at 16:15 back at 19:15 Hrs – from Leonsburg by boat searching Dolphins at the confluence of the Suriname and the Commewijne river or near the Atlantic Ocean until the sun sets.  Day 8

After Breakfast at Hotel we take a bus for an all day travel by road and river to Cayenne.

After 2 ½ we arrive at St Laurent, where we are welcomed by customs before we

continue our journey. We stop in Sinnamary for a creole lunch, after a hearty lunch we

check into Hotel Des Roches. After rejuvenating in your hotel, you can relax, go swimming, shopping on their own.

 Day 9

Have a delicious breakfast at Hotel, after which you will be transferred to Kourou. Cross over to Devil’s Islands by sailing boat. Located 15 km from Kourou, this 3 islands archipelago (Royal Island, St. Joseph Island and Devils Island) are now a real green paradise after having been the hell for the convicts. Free visit of St Joseph (bathing possible) and Royale Island (guided visit is possible in French only), lunch (drinks not included) at Royale island inn. In the afternoon we cross back to Kourou and check into our hotel.

 Day 10

After Breakfast visit the Space Center in Kourou then return to Suriname.

Depart Paramaribo by air to Ogle International Airport.
